Can I opt out of facial recognition during the application verification?

Applicants with a Texas or Illinois driver's license, or applying in markets in either state, can opt out of facial recognition during the application process.

It's easy to do – check the box that says "Opt-out of facial recognition" at the end of the verification section when applying to join Zipcar. By opting out, your application will be manually reviewed, which may take up to 3 business days. So, no worries if it takes a bit longer; we'll still make sure to process your application.
