What type of gas should I put in my Zipcar?

You may have to fill up your Zipcar while driving, so knowing what fuel to put in is important.

The majority of our cars should be filled with Regular Unleaded/87 Octane gasoline. Our luxury class vehicles, such as Mercedes and BMWs, should be filled with Premium Unleaded/91-94 Octane gasoline.

You should never put diesel into any of our cars as this can cause severe and permanent damage to the engine. Diesel nozzles can usually be identified by their green color.

Keep In Mind

You should always return your Zipcar with at least 1/4 gas.
